PARALLEL Back to waitlist

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Parallel ("Parallel", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and discloses personal information when you visit our website, join the mailing list, contact us, or use any Parallel application, interface, API, Sui blockchain integration or related service that we make available (together, the "Services"). Features described below are collected only when they are available and you choose to use them.

1. Who we are

Parallel is a pre-launch Sui trading terminal project. For privacy questions or requests, contact contact@parallel.rocks.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Waitlist email

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address, the date and time of subscription, your consent record and the source of the form. We use this information to maintain the Parallel mailing list, administer early access, and send launch, beta and product updates. You may unsubscribe or withdraw consent at any time.

2.2 Messages you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include in your message. Please do not send passwords, private keys, seed phrases, payment details or other highly sensitive information.

2.3 Account and profile information

If accounts are introduced, we may collect a username, profile image, authentication data, preferences and other information you add to an account. We use it to create, maintain, personalise and secure the account and provide the requested Services.

2.4 Wallet and blockchain information

If you connect a wallet, we may process your public wallet address, public balances, token holdings, public transaction history, transaction identifiers, smart-contract interactions and other information available on the Sui blockchain. Public blockchain records are not controlled by Parallel and may remain publicly available permanently. Parallel does not need and will never ask for your seed phrase or private key.

2.5 Transaction information

If live trading becomes available, we may process the asset, amount, quoted and executed price, routing information, gas and protocol fees, transaction status, timestamps and connected wallet address needed to display, submit, support and analyse transactions. Parallel is intended to be non-custodial and does not take possession of your assets solely because you use the interface.

2.6 Identity and compliance information

Where required by law, sanctions rules, a service provider or a particular feature, we may request identity and eligibility information such as legal name, date of birth, country, government identification, proof of address or verification results. We will provide additional notice when such information is requested.

2.7 User content and communications

We may process feedback, support requests, messages, watchlists, public profiles or other content you choose to submit. Content submitted to a public feature may be visible to other users and may be copied outside our control.

2.8 Technical and usage information

Our hosting, security and analytics providers may automatically process IP address, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, operating system, unique device identifiers, request time, pages and files viewed, referring page, feature interactions, searches, error reports, performance data and security-event information.

2.9 Information from other sources

We may receive public blockchain information, fraud and sanctions-screening results, authentication information from a login provider you select, protocol or routing data from integrated services, and publicly available information. We treat this information in accordance with this Policy but do not control the accuracy or practices of third parties.

2.10 Deidentified information

We may aggregate or deidentify information so that it cannot reasonably identify you and use it for analytics, security, product development and research. We will not attempt to reidentify deidentified information except to test whether the deidentification process is effective or as permitted by law.

3. How and why we use information

  • Provide requested Services: operate the mailing list, accounts, product features, wallet displays, transaction interfaces and support.
  • Operate and secure the Site: diagnose errors, prevent abuse and maintain the availability and integrity of the Site.
  • Administer early access: manage the waitlist, send invitations and communicate beta availability.
  • Send updates: send launch or beta messages only where permitted and provide a clear way to unsubscribe.
  • Analyse and improve: understand usage, test features, troubleshoot failures and develop new functionality.
  • Meet legal obligations: conduct required compliance checks, comply with lawful requests and protect our rights and those of others.

4. Lawful bases

Where UK or European data protection law applies, we rely on:

  • Consent for optional waitlist marketing or product-update emails. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legitimate interests to operate, secure and improve the Site, respond to enquiries and prevent misuse, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Steps at your request where we use information to respond to a request for beta access or another service.
  • Legal obligation where processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.

5. Local storage and cookies

We may use cookies, browser storage, pixels or similar technologies for essential operation, preferences, authentication, security, performance and analytics. Essential technologies may operate without consent where permitted. We will request consent before using non-essential analytics, advertising or similar technologies where the law requires it.

You can block or delete these technologies through your browser, although doing so may prevent parts of the Services from working correctly. The waitlist email itself is submitted to our server and is not stored in browser local storage by the current form.

Because there is no universally accepted standard for browser "Do Not Track" signals, the Services may not respond to them. Where legally required, we will recognise applicable opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, for processing treated as a sale or sharing.

6. How information may be shared

We do not currently sell personal information. We may disclose information to:

  • hosting, email, security and infrastructure providers working for us under appropriate instructions;
  • wallet, blockchain, liquidity, routing, market-data and protocol providers where necessary to perform a feature or transaction you request;
  • identity verification, sanctions-screening, fraud prevention and compliance providers where applicable;
  • other users when you deliberately publish content or use a public feature;
  • professional advisers where reasonably necessary;
  • affiliates and entities within the Parallel corporate group;
  • law enforcement, regulators, courts or other parties where disclosure is legally required or necessary to protect rights and safety; and
  • a buyer or successor as part of a genuine merger, financing, reorganisation or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

If future transaction routing involves paid order flow or another arrangement treated by law as a sale or sharing of personal information, we will update this Policy before that processing begins and provide any required choices.

7. International transfers

Some future service providers may process information outside your country. Where UK or European transfer rules apply, we will use a lawful transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy regulation or approved contractual safeguards, and apply appropriate protections.

8. Retention

  • Mailing-list email: kept until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent, or the list is discontinued. We may retain a minimal suppression record so that we honour an opt-out.
  • Contact correspondence: kept for as long as reasonably needed to resolve and document the enquiry, normally no longer than 24 months after it is closed unless a longer period is legally required.
  • Account information: kept while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet security, dispute and legal requirements.
  • Transaction and compliance records: if collected, kept for the period required by applicable financial, tax, anti-money-laundering and record-keeping law, which may be up to seven years or longer where legally required.
  • Public blockchain data: may remain permanently available on the relevant blockchain even after Parallel stops displaying it.
  • Security and server logs: kept under a limited rolling schedule based on security and operational needs, unless an event requires longer investigation or retention by law.

9. Third-party services and public blockchains

The Services may link to or integrate wallets, protocols, exchanges, market-data sources, authentication providers and other third-party services. Their own terms and privacy notices apply to their processing, and Parallel is not responsible for their accuracy, availability or privacy practices.

Information submitted to a public blockchain is visible to anyone and generally cannot be changed or deleted by Parallel. Connecting a wallet or approving a transaction may allow the relevant wallet, protocol and blockchain participants to process information independently.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information and the pre-launch nature of the Site. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Parallel will never ask for your wallet seed phrase or private key.

Do not send passwords, seed phrases, private keys, bank-account credentials or payment-card details through email or a support message. If a message claiming to be Parallel asks for them, do not respond.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live and the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal information, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Your right to object: where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object to that processing. You may object to direct marketing at any time, and every marketing email will include an unsubscribe method.

We do not currently use solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects. To exercise a right, email contact@parallel.rocks. We may ask for enough information to verify and respond to your request. An authorised agent may submit a request where the law permits, subject to proof of authority and identity verification. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

If you are in the UK, you can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office. If you live in France, you may give general or specific instructions concerning the retention, deletion and disclosure of personal information after your death, and may modify or withdraw those instructions as permitted by law.

12. California residents

If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies, California residents may request access to the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, correction, deletion, and information about sources, purposes and recipients. They may also opt out of a sale or sharing and limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable, without discriminatory treatment for exercising a right.

In the preceding 12 months, the Services may have collected identifiers such as email and IP address, internet or network activity, communications, and any wallet or transaction information deliberately provided through an available feature. These categories are used and disclosed for the purposes and to the recipients described in this Policy. Parallel does not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising and does not knowingly sell or share personal information of anyone under 16.

You may use an authorised agent to submit a request. We may require evidence of the agent's authority and may verify the request directly with you.

13. Children

The Site and waitlist are intended for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information to us.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as Parallel develops. We will change the date above and, where appropriate, bring material changes to your attention before a new use of personal information begins.

15. Language

If this Policy is translated and a translated version conflicts with the English version, the English version controls except where applicable law requires otherwise.

16. Contact
